the story of my life, stated in the words of Anton Chekov, Russian physician and renowned writer, slightly tweaked 😉

Toxicity Level: Low

*Edit: 10/18/17 – Hi everyone! I’ve emerged victorious from the recently concluded September PLE and am so blessed and grateful to now be a licensed MD! It has been decided that I’ll be taking a year off to rest, grow, and explore before plunging into residency, so here we are~! Eager to make this a year of literature, both reading and writing. 🙂

Hey! I’m Angeli, a physician and novelist, and welcome to Rx: Literature, where I celebrate the healing capabilities of the world of literature. I’ve always thought of stories as sort of like drugs – depending on how you use them, they can be mood-uplifters, a cause for tachycardia, headache-inducing, or downright upsetting to the stomach. Hence, this book review blog’s title!

I’ve been meaning to create a book review blog for some time now, and I’m so happy I finally got around making Rx: Literature.
