the story of my life, stated in the words of Anton Chekov, Russian physician and renowned writer, slightly tweaked 😉

Toxicity Level: High

*Edit: 05/17/17 – Hi everyone! I’ll be taking an indefinite break on book reviewing so as to better focus on the last remaining days of internship and the upcoming Physician Licensure Exam 2017. Wish me luck! 🙂

Hey! I’m Angeli, a doctor-in-training and budding novelist, and welcome to Rx: Literature, where I celebrate the healing capabilities of the world of literature. I’ve always thought of stories as sort of like drugs – depending on how you use them, they can be mood-uplifters, a cause for tachycardia, headache-inducing, or downright upsetting to the stomach. Hence, this book review blog’s title!

I’ve been meaning to create a book review blog for some time now, and I’m so happy I finally got around making Rx: Literature.
